In this episode of the podcast, I dive into the contentious topic of Black History Month and why some white individuals seem to have a problem with it. I explore the discomfort that arises among certain groups when Black history is highlighted, particularly during the designated month. I question whether Black people should continue to celebrate Black History Month or if we should shift our focus to recognizing our history year-round. The Worst First 100 Days In 80 Years Have Us Asking AFTER 100 DAYS IN ARE WE BETTER OFF, OR ARE WE HEADED FOR HARD TIMES?

AFTER 100 DAYS IN ARE WE BETTER OFF, OR ARE WE HEADED FOR HARD TIMES?

In this episode of the Deron Harris Podcast, we dive into the first 100 days of the current administration and reflect on the significant challenges we face as a nation. Let's start by checking in on everyone's mental health, emphasizing the importance of seeking help and support during tough times.

"It's the economy, stupid", Deron expresses his concerns about rising costs, job security, and the overall economic turmoil that many are experiencing. Questioning whether people feel better off now than they did before, and highlighting the cognitive decline perceived in the leadership, particularly referencing Joe Biden's recent town hall appearance.

Throughout the episode, Deron Harris critiques the administration's policies, particularly regarding immigration and civil rights, arguing that they disproportionately harm marginalized communities. Pointing out the dismantling of DEI initiatives and the lack of accountability in government, noting the dismissal of inspector generals and the use of executive orders to bypass legislation. Also addressing the growing unrest and protests in response to these policies, suggesting that the administration is fostering civil unrest as part of a larger agenda.

Let's call out the hypocrisy of those who claim to support democracy while enabling actions that undermine it.

"I urge listeners to reflect on what they voted for and whether they are truly getting what they expected. I express my hope for unity among all communities and the importance of standing together in the face of adversity. Everyone, stay vigilant, prepare for potential challenges ahead, and remain hopeful for a better future."  ~ Deron Harris
